PANDANGO SA ILAW Pandango sa Ilaw (dance with cover lamps), this version from Mindoro, is the most difficult of the all the Pandangos. It is kind of an unusual and colorful. The female dancer gracefully and skilfully balances tierce lit tinghoy or oil lamps - whiz on her stupefy aim and one on the back of each slip away to. A few male childs and girls may take part as townsfolk or onlookers. They clap their hands in condemnation to the music, adding life and enjoyment to the dance. COSTUME. The girl is dressed in balintawak, the boy in commodious red trousers and barong tagalog. MUSIC is divided into three parts: A, B, C. sum up: one, two, three to a measure. FORMATION.
